Hello Everyone!
It is not too late to make a donation to Phil's Polar Plunger Team. We had a great day this past Saturday -the water was very cold BUT it sure was worth it!
The Washington Township crew was awarded the "MOST MONEY RAISED BY A TEAM" plaque and Phil was awarded the "MOST MONEY RAISED BY AN INDIVIDUAL" for the 4th year in row. But the effort to support our local program SOINWT and Special Oympics Indiana continues through April 25th.
Please take a moment and make a contribution here on Phil's web site or send him a check - made payable to SOIN - at 55 Highland Manor Crt. S. Indpls., IN 46228-1414
Thanks for all your support of Special Olympics!

Thank you for visiting my Polar Plunge Page for 2008!
Well it's that time of year again, when folks are FREEZIN for a REASON as they dive into the frigid waters of Eagle Creek to raise money for Special Olympics. Once again, I am asking for your support. With your help, last year I was able to exceed my goal of $10,000.00 and raised well over $11,000.00. And as you can see, I got a chance to meet Rupert Boneham from Survivior. He and Sean Ash from WISH TV were the first two plungers! It was so cold that they had to cut a hole in the ice so we could get in the water.
This year my goal is $15,000.00. Just like in years past, the Indiana Autism Sertoma Club has pledged to match my donations - this year they have increased their pledge to $5,000.00, so I'm a third of the way to my goal - BUT I NEED YOUR HELP!
I am always looking for new team members but if jumping into the water is not your cup of (iced) tea you are more than welcome to join us at Eagle Creek on Saturday, February 23rd at 10:30 to have some fun and cheer us on.
Your donation is tax deductible and half of what I raise helps my local program, Special Olympics IN Washington Township, provide the Special Olympic experience to over 70 athletes and over 30 partner/volunteers without regard to economic status. The other half goes toward helping athletes all over the State of Indiana.
Please give as much as you can - It's a great cause, and no matter how cold it is outside, it will give you a warm feeling on the inside!
Phil
