Thanks to those of you who helped last year, Team Bos-Stecyk-Canada once again met our goal for the annual Team Hope - Walk for a Cure! The walk is our biggest fund raiser of the year and your donations really helped in the search for a treatment and eventual cure for Huntington’s disease. We’re walking again this year to keep pushing this important research forward; once again, we need and ask for your help. If you are considering donating for the first time, we urge you to help in any way you can. We have received donations from $5 on up; your gift at any level helps and is truly appreciated.

Huntington's is a devastating, hereditary, degenerative, neuromuscular disease that kills brain cells. At present, there is no effective treatment or cure, but promising research continues in part through the generous donations of our family and friends. HD slowly diminishes the affected individual's ability to walk, think, talk and reason. Eventually, the person with HD becomes totally dependent upon others for his or her care until death inevitably ends the struggle – we want to change that. It is also believed that discoveries in treating HD will leverage finding treatments and cures for other neurological diseases such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, ALS and others. We need your help in the form of prayers and donations, and you’re certainly welcome you to join us on the walk.
