Join us at Eisenhower Park in East Meadow Field 6A, from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for a fun-filled day! The Buddy Walk(R) is a registered event established by the National Down Syndrome Society to celebrate Down Syndrome Awareness Month in October and to promote acceptance and inclusion of people with Down syndrome. It is organized throughout the nation and abroad by local groups. Alexander's Angels is the organizer in Long Island. Benefitting from this event are the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS), Association for Children with Down Syndrome (ACDS), Down Syndrome Advocacy Foundation (DSAF), Down Syndrome Research and Treatment Foundation (DSRTF), Research Down Syndrome (RDS), and Alexander's Angels
