I am training for the 2013 Boston Marathon as part of Team Brookline to help raise funds for the Brookline Education Foundation (http://brooklinefoundation.org/).
Those of you who know my exercise habits may be surprised, since running for me typically exists only as a method to move or get to a soccer ball.
I am doing this for two reasons:
1) To honor the memory of my father, who had a lifelong commitment to education. He was president of the board of education and a co-founder of a non-profit education foundation in my hometown, and after a career as an engineer he became a math teacher.
2) To help support the Brookline public school system which is giving our four kids a great education.
I appreciate whatever you can do to help me get to my fundraising goal. Donations through this website are simple, fast and totally secure.
Please forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
Thanks for your support!
NOTE: If you are having a problem making a donation online, please call Nicole Reiner, Team Brookline Coordinator, at 617-277-8107.
