We have an event that I love to participate in because the proceeds ALL go to a cause dear to my heart and that is Special Olympics Florida.  I committed myself to create an advocacy group, Team GIFT, that promotes fun, awareness, and fitness in support of the developmentally disabled.  Team GIFT supports Special Olympics, Best Buddies and local racing events in the community.  I've been blessed with an awesome brother, who just happens to have Down's Syndrome.  He is an inspiration to be present to the everyday moments and am I proud to be his sister and that my kids have an awesome uncle to look up to.  Tito loves sports and as an adult participates in Special Olympics as a bowler.   We encourage more athletes to team up to create a fitness transformation and promote health initiatives.   This weekend's event- the Fiddler's Green 5k is a great time to make that difference!!  You can still register and participate at the event, be a virtual sponsor, or simply donate.  Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
