Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.
Unfortunately, an average of 167 law enforcement officers die in the line of duty each year. That averages out to 1 officer every 53 hours. Last year, 127 officers were killed in the line of duty. It is because of these officers that we have committed to raising awareness and money for the National Law Enforcement Officer's Memorial (NLEOM) and Museum.
Once again, 2 members of our department have made the commitment to participate in the 2013 Police Unity Tour. Ellen DeSimone (10 years) and Beth Sparks (11 years).
Each year in May, we make the 4 day journey from Northern New Jersey to the Memorial in Washington, D.C. During the trip, there are many sacrifices made, but none that compare to the Ultimate Sacrifice made by over 19,000 officers whose names are on the Wall.
On May 12, 2013, over 1,000 officers will converge on the Memorial to present our donation. With your help, we can continue to make our donation larger than last year!
Thank you for supporting us in our mission! Your donations will ensure that these brave men and women will never be forgotten.
Donating through this website is simple, fast and completely secure. It is also the most efficient way to support our fundraising efforts.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
