We're throwing a party, and we're excited about it! But we think that the best way to celebrate New York’s Marriage Equality Law is to help raise money to bring equality to other states as well, so we're working to raise $5,000 for Lambda Legal, who a have longstanding commitment to “achieving full recognition of the civil rights of lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, transgender people and those with HIV through impact litigation, education and public policy work.” We’ve chosen to support Lambda Legal through this event as we believe that everyone is strengthened by living in a more equal society, and Lambda does work that helps make that a reality.
