Aaron Ledford's Fundraising Page
As most of you may know for the last 4 years I was a caregiver for a gentleman with autism spectrum disorder. These last few years working with him have been life changing, and will effect me for the rest of my life. With reported cases of ASD on the rise I feel this is a subject that needs more attention and research. Being involved in this field I understand the strain this disorder can put on parents and siblings.
I run and will continue to run for OAR, because I want to see progress in all aspects of autism research, treatment, and diagnosis.
On April 21 to the 22nd I will be running for 24 hours straight near Quantico Marine Corps base just outside of Washington D.C. This race is my first fundraising race for Autism research this year.
