I am lacing up my dancing shoes! I will be participating in a Dance Marathon that benefits Riley Hospital for Children and works to spread awareness of all the terrific kids in Riley's care.

I will be on my feet dancing, playing games, and interacting with the kids from Riley who come as guests.

Now my actual words!

I can say from my experience last year that this event is truly life-changing, as I was able to spend the night with the niece of one of my current teachers. She had stayed at Riley and was having ongoing treatment there, and so it was amazing to think about how every dollar raised was helping my "new friend"  get through the troubles that intruded upon what would otherwise by a normal childhood. Please consider donating, even if it's just a few dollars, to help make a positive impact on hospitalized youth in the community.
