UPDATE - GOAL HAS BEEN REACHED!!!!!

I am humbled that so many people donated to myself and  this cause.  My deepest thanks to all you from those that donated in cash to those that have been emotionally supportative.  I promise some amazing photos and videos.

On Saturday, October 13th I will be rappelling 35 stories down the side of the VUE building (pic on the right) in downtown Charlotte!

Why, you may ask?

This year is the 2nd Annual Over the Edge Charlotte event to raise funds for Special Olympics North Carolina (SONC). Participants must raise $1000 each for SONC in order to reserve a rappel slot for the event.

Hitting middle age and the "buket list" growing longer I decided to add one more item. I've already done some big things so when the opportunity for this event came up, I had to jump at the chance! Where else will you get the chance to rappel off a downtown skyscraper AND raise money for a great organization?
