Thank you for visiting my Personal Fundraising Page.  This page is dedicated to the memory of Carol Loewenstein, a loving and dedicated mother of five, sister of seven siblings, wife, aunt, and daughter.  We lost her on July 9, 2000.  She is missed every day. 

I will be setting up a team to run/jog/walk in her honor.  The 5K race is on October 3rd, 2009 in Boston, MA along the Charles River. Please let me know if you would like to join the team, make a donation to the cause of suicide prevention, or both.  I would like to raise at least $18 for each of her 44 years of life, totaling $792.  For those of you who do not know, the number 18 is special in the Jewish tradition, and signifies "chai," or "life."  That is how I would like to remember my mom.
