Adam Broman's Fundraising Page
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!
In 2005, my dad, Robert Broman suffered a stroke. For the past 4 years he has been unable to walk, communicate easily, or do many of the other things we often take for granted. I am running the 2009 NYC Marathon in his honor. Working together to overcome the physical limitations, emotional repercussions and day-to-day challenges of my dad's illness, I have learned so much about strength, patience, and determination. l plan to take these lessons with me on my 26.2 mile journey on November 1st, knowing that the challenge set before me is nothing compared to the challenges faced by my dad each day.
Please join me by supporting to the National Stroke Association. Their goal to improve the quality of stroke patient care has a direct impact on survivors like my dad. And their objective to educate the public about stroke prevention and symptom recognition strives to spare other families the terrible consequences of this deadly illness.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
