I took second place in the Expert Iron Man class of the  TSCO Vegas to Reno the Long Way. August 19 - 22. This is the longest off road race in the United States. ..an 1100 mile 3 day event across brutal desert terrain. I rode a Honda 450TRX quad.   My support team was made up of my brother Josh, my daughter Katie and  Four on the Floor club members Doug Stofferahn of Desert Performance Service and Eric Henandez. With 100% attrition in the Expert Iron Man class  awards were given for distance covered.  I captured second place riding nearly 350 miles on day one.

In honor of the efforts of Antahkarana to educate and support kids in the remote  Himalayas who have had no schools for two generations and live only a subsistence existence a region without roads, electricity or communciations... I  rode some of the most inhospitable terrain in the world because I wanted to and I was able.
