Hello friends!

I hope this e-mail finds you well in health and spirits. My season thus far in the Eastern League (AA) has been nothing short of rewarding and exciting. It is hard to believe that we’re well over half way through the season and on the home stretch!

On November 11th, I will join Major League Baseball and Minor League Baseball Umpires from around the country for the 2nd Annual UMPS CARE Charities 100-Hole Golf Marathon in Mesa, Arizona. This event raises funds for the UMPS CARE Charities children’s hospital and youth ticket programs.

My goal is to raise more than $2,500 for this cause and I’m writing to ask for your support.  The Charity provides for the following:

• Build-A-Bear Workshop experiences for children coping with cancer and other serious illness.
• Unique baseball experiences for children awaiting adoption and at-risk youth in mentoring programs.
• Behind the scenes events to recognize efforts of youth baseball players who exhibit a high level of sportsmanship, fair play, and respect for the game of baseball.

I certainly understand the tough economic times, as we are all facing some degree of difficulty. I appreciate your time in consideration of this request. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have!
