Team CeCe
Hello Friends and Family,
This summer, July 19-25, my brother Steve and I are going to ride RAGBRAI - a week long trek across Iowa. For us this is not a pleasure ride; our goal is to raise $10,000 toward curing epilepsy. We are calling ourselves "Team CeCe" after my 2 year old daughter who, each day, battles this neurological disorder. The funds we raise will go to CURE, a nonprofit, volunteer based organization that is committed to finding a cure for Epilepsy by both raising money for research and increasing awareness. Over three million American's have Epilepsy with five hundred new cases diagnosed each day. More people are affected by Epilepsy than Multiple Sclerosis, Cerebral Palsy, Muscular Dystrophy, and Parkinson's combined.
Firstgiving.com is a site used to raise money for charities and has provided the safe transfer of nearly one hundred million dollars.
