Joanna Ricketts's Fundraising Page
Hi everyone!
It is that time of year! The 2009 Buddy Walk is October 18th (2-4pm) at the Union High School Track (66th & Mingo). Jackson has had such an exciting year, and we are so excited to take part in this event again. He will be 2 years old December 21st and he is developing such a personality. Over the past year, Jackson has faced a few hurdles. He had open-heart surgery, additional surgery to clear him of an infection, a couple of battles with pneumonia, as well as an unknown virus that made him very critically ill. With all of these issues, Jackson has proven how strong he is and we could not be prouder of him. In fact, even with all of these obstacles, Jackson just started crawling all over the place, playing peek-a-boo, and of course, following his brothers everywhere! Our family is so grateful that DSAT is part of our lives. Not only do they provide great resources, but also friendships that will last a lifetime! Please join us in our fundraising efforts - every cent makes a difference!
You can help us give back to a wonderful organization by joining our team and creating a fundraising page (it is as simple as clicking a link and sending an e-mail to your friends and family), or by making a contribution to DSAT right here on Jackson's page. Additionally, everyone is invited to the event....there are wonderful activities for all kids, music, food, etc. We would love to have you walk with us around the track as part of Jackson's team!
