FINANCIAL GOAL REACHED. Thank you all for supporting my efforts to raise $10,000 for New England Disabled Sports. Your donations will allow NEDS to continue to expand its extraordinary program and make outdoor adventures accessible to people who might not otherwise be able to partake.
Even though I have reached my goal there is still an opportunity for you to give. Every penny counts and I would appreciate it if you would make a donation to NEDS. There is still plenty of time until the snow melts and I can cross the Presidentials for my final excursion. Thank you again for your support.

ONLY 1 HIKE LEFT!!! I have left the Presidential's for my final hike on my 48 peak journey...saving the best for last. Unfortunately, this final, two-day hike will have to wait until spring as there is already a lot of snow covering the peaks. While I am only one hike away from bagging all the peaks, I am still far from my goal of raising $10,000 for New England Disabled Sports so please make a donation today.
Thanks!
8/25/10 Update - It has been a tough summer for hiking as I spent the first half of it recovering from shoulder surgery. As a result, my pace has slowed a bit and I am only up to 33 peaks so far. With a couple more weeks before school starts I hope to get them all in with the exception of the Presidentials which I will do this fall as my big finish.
There is still plenty of time to make a donation - please send your friends as well.
Thanks!
Welcome!
Thank you for joining me on my journey as I raise at least $10,000 for the New England Disabled Sports program. It will not be easy to hike all 48 4,000 foot peaks in New Hampshire and I am sure there will be lots of ups and downs along the way….but I am ready.
Through this site, you will be able to track my progress. I will be posting descriptions and photos of my hikes as I bag each of these peaks. If any of you would like to join me for portions of my trek, I would welcome the company. Please let me know.
Together, we can support the NE Disabled Sports program. These guys do an amazing job bring light to the lives of people who struggle with simple day to day tasks. Imagine being blind or confined to a wheelchair yet being able to schuss down Loon Mountain with the help of trained volunteer guides. The people at NE Disabled Sports are truly remarkable.
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts. All proceeds (less a 6% transaction fee) go directly to NE Disabled Sports.
Many thanks for your support. If you can think of anyone else who would like to participate in my fundraiser, please forward this link to my site www.firstgiving.com/hikingtohelp. It would be great to go viral.
THANKS A TON,
Adam
