Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!
On May 9th of this year I will be riding 320 miles, leaving New Jersey and arriving in Washington D.C. The primary purpose of this ride is to raise awareness of Law Enforcement Officers who have died in the line of duty. The second purpose is to raise funds for the National Law Enforcement Officer's Memorial and Museum.
On this journey I will be riding in honor and in memory for fallen Cincinnati Police Officer Clifford W. George. He served 15 1/2 years, from October 24, 1971 to April 16, 1987. Officer George was attempting to place a suspect into handcuffs when a struggle ensued. Officer George radioed for assistance and surrounding officers began thier response, but were too late. The suspect had removed Officer George's sidearm from the holster and fired a total of 2 times taking Officer George's life. The suspect was located by Officer Fromhold, Officer Norton and his K9, Bandit. The suspect took aim at the officers and fired with a shot passing through Bandit and striking Officer Norton in the leg. As the suspect fired so did the Officers. Officer Fromhold and Norton's shots found their mark and the suspect fell dead. Bandit was rushed to the department veterinarian but did not survive his wound.

Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts. This cause is very close to my heart. Officer Clifford W. George was a close friend to several members of my family who worked with him in the early 80's. I am looking forward to helping this great cause and making sure this great man is never forgotten.
I'd like to thank my friends and family in advance for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
Sincerely,
Adam McMillan
