Hey Everyone!! First off i hope you are having a wonerful day!!

I feel SO honored to be a "TABLE CAPTAIN" This year at the big Lifesaver's Breakfast event for Donate Life!!

It is being held on WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 16th at the Oregon Convention Center!!

 

Let me explain a little about what it is =)

Each year DONATE LIFE holds a breakfast called "LIFESAVER'S BREAKFAST" it is one of the most inspiring & moving fundraisers i have ever attended. I was fortunate enough to attend one year before transplant, then also last year just barely after my transplant!! The emotions & amazing stories i heard, i will never forget. It's educational to teach you about Organ/Tissue/Eye donation & how important it is... How many lives YOU or someone you love could possibly save. Or, what if you need a life saving surgery one day.. who knows who will help save YOUR life.

Because of organ donation, my life was saved. I am living again, giving back to my community as much as i can. Helping share my story to inspire others, make them realize how very fortunate they are just to breathe.. But also to let them know how incredibly important it is to look into organ donation.

I have two tables reserved this year that I am responsible for filling with guests.. Not only do you get a delicious breakfst, BUT you get to hear a story that will forever change your life. Ana & Isa Stenzel, who happen to be two of my close transplant friends now, are identical twins who both have CF & BOTH receieved double lung transplants!!

 

THEY are MY INSPIRATION. After i read their story "POWER OF TWO" before my transplant i realized how amazing my life was going to be after & just how much of a change i was going to make in people's lives. There story is so inspiring, i guarantee you will leave with either chills or tears.. but very happy ones!!!

I am trying to set a personal goal of raising $1000, which i know is a high goal but i also know that with my determination i can do it!!

Then for those who cannot physically make the event another great way to participate is attending my 'virtual table'. You can make an online donation using this site & it will count towards the breakfast.

I am so thankful for this second chance at life, i'm doing anything i can to make my donor & her family PROUD!!! I want to make a difference in this world & i am.. every little step i take.. I AM <3

 

I am raising this money in memory of my amazing cysters who lost their battle far too soon.. organ donation is what SAVES our lives, please let's help it continue doing that... <3
