Golden Gate Basset Rescue is a not for profit 501(c)3 dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of basset hounds. We cover the entire northern California, south to Fresno County, north to the Oregon border, and east to Reno, Nevada and all places in between. We are a foster-home based organization, providing medical care and dealing with re-training, and the emotional trauma of change in the basset's life. We evaluate the dogs that pass through our hands to make sure they can be matched with the best forever home, after that home has been through our approval process.
