Jess got her 15 minutes of fame this year... with a photoshoot to appear in a My Mutt poster at our local Pet Food Express.  This actually made her realize how lucky she is to have a home and owners that adore her.  So she really wants to celebrate in style at this year's Waddle... and bring in the most donations!  So, she's set herself a decent target for fundraising, put a little in the pot to start it off, and is begging all her friends and family (ok, my friends and family!) to help her reach her goal.

Last year, our Rescue nearly ran out of funds in December and had to stop taking in dogs being surrendered by their owners as we had to concentrate on the dogs in shelters... we don't want this to happen again this year.  We don't want to have to say no when faced with emergency surgery totalling over $3000, or no to a dental when a dog has rotten teeth spreading disease throughout it's body, or no to surgery and biopsies on lumps and growths that could be a death sentence to the dog...  Please help!
