The big day is right around the coner, everyone who would like to walk with us is welcome. Register online and it will be no charge or  it is $10.00 at the walk.  WELCOME TO OUR 2009 BUDDY WALK PAGE 

 

Hello evryone my name is Adrian James Rivera but my friends and family call me A.J., Agitto,or A.G..I am a happy and healthy four year old boy.I attend school at The U.C.P. in Kissimmee Florida, I will be going in to VPK on August 24th of this year. I have   worked very hard to learn my ABC''s , how to count to twenty, the names of all the colors and all the shapes. I also know sign languge, and now I am working on my reading program.  I can read a few words already and my Mom and Dad are proud. I am prepared for school. Wish me luck!!!!!!!!!

The other exciting event I have coming up is the Down Syndrome BUDDY WALK on October 17th 2009 at 8:00 a.m. I invite anyone who wants to walk to meet us at lake eola . This is an important event where we will walk around the lake, it is a mile long. All of the money we raise will go to a great causeand It is a fun and special  day.  They will have booths, music, dancing,  games, bounce houses, face pianting, characters, a raffle and of course awareness and information. Please come out and walk with us Saturday morning at 8:00 am Lake Eola Down Town Orlando. Breakfast, lunch, snacks, ice cream and beverages will be provided to anyone who w.ants them.  Hope to see you there.

Donations for my walk are execpted through this page that has been provided to us by the Down Syndrome Association of Central Florida. They are the organization that steer our parents in the right direction when we are born. They give advice for school and doctors. They educate about the importance of therapy and sign languge. They also have programs to help me in various subjects. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to our fundraising efforts. The Donations will be used to help families learn what is needed to ensure the health and development of our children. They provide low cost sign language classes, resorces and monthly meeting about important issues.
