Hello Friends and Family,
This year I am participating in the 2012 Strike out Stigma Bowl-a-Thon that raises funds to support SLO Hotline and other Transitions-Mental Health Association (TMHA) programs. I have worked as the Finance Coordinator at TMHA for over 3 years now and have seen what an impact this organization has in the community.
About TMHA
TMHA is a nonprofit organization committed to eliminating the stigma of mental illnesses, maximizing personal potential and providing innovative mental health services to individuals and families in need. TMHA operates 27 programs at over 35 locations that reach over 2,000 people and 1,500 families in San Luis Obispo and Northern Santa Barbara counties. We inspire hope, growth, recovery and wellness in our communities.
About SLO Hotline
SLO Hotline is a suicide prevention and mental health crisis line that is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You can also call us at 800.549.4499 for emotional and mental health support for yourself or someone else.
SLO Hotline is a program of Transitions-Mental Health Association, a community-based nonprofit. It began as a local crisis support and resources referral hotline and continues its service to the community now with a new stigma-reduction and mental health recovery mission.
Many thanks for your support!
Adrianne
