Last year, amist the green hills and rocky shores of South Hero, VT, on a "little piece of land" there was an event that changed the lives of 39+ LGBTQQIAAP Youth and 20+ Camp Staff Volunteers. This year we will expand upon this experience and make Camp Outright 2012 a part of the best summer for 85+ LGBTQQIAAP Youth and 33+ Camp Staff Volunteers.
Camp Outright is made up of an amazing team of volunteers that would gladly pull a schoolbus full of youth all the way up to Camp Hochelaga. Help us keep our energy and spirits high as we fundraise to ensure that Camp Outright can continue to provide a safe, healthy and supportive space wherein youth do not need to worry about finding their next meal, having enough clothing to stay warm or a community to show them love and support.
Please help us continue to offer experiences like these for Vermont (and neighboring states') queer, questioning and allied youth. Your support will help us continue to open minds, touch hearts and to change lives.
The mission of Outright Vermont is to build safe, healthy and supportive environments for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender queer and questioning youth ages 13-22.
