Ronald McDonald House at Stanford creates a home-away-from-home and supportive community for families of children with life-threatening illnesses receiving specialized treatment at local hospitals. Many of the children are receiving heart and other organ transplants, chemotherapy, radiation, bone marrow transplants, orthopedic surgery, or other very advanced care at the hospital. These children often require days, weeks, or even months of treatment.

 

Therefore I decided to join the Team Ronald McDonald House run/walk ½ marathon. It will be on Sunday, November 9 in Big Sur.

 

Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
