We are a team of students from the Fashion Marketing and Management program at the Art Institute of California- Hollywood, who are currently working  to raise money for the 17th Annual Bikeathon,which takes place on Sunday April 15th. Since 2009, The Art Institute has been an active participant in supporting St Vincent's Meals on Wheels, helping to provide hot meals to homebound seniors around L.A.

To most poeple, Hollywood is known as the land of glitz and glamour. What many don't realize is that among the beautiful and rich, are so many who are much less fortunate. We've had the oppurtunity to volunteer with St. Vincent's Meals on Wheels, helping to provide hot meals to homebound seniors around LA. It's definitely astounding to experience first hand those who rely solely on St. Vincent's to be able eat on a daily basis, while conspicuous consumption is happening right outside their window. This is why we've chosen to participate in the Bike-a-thon for St. Vincent's Meals on Wheels.
