Aidan's Angels
Thank you for visiting Aidan's Angels fundraising page.
Aidan Brody O'Rourke was born on September 26, 2007. At nine months he was diagnosed with Rett Syndrome (www.rettsyndrome.org). Aidan was severely disabled, he could not sit, walk, talk, eat by mouth or even hold up his head. But he had a smile that could light up the room! His eyes spoke volumes.
Aidan spent a total of 126 days at Kosair hospital. During this time, he had a g-tube (permanent feeding tube) placed, a stomach fundoplacation (x3), a port and a tracheostomy with a ventilator. Aidan gained his wings on December 7, 2010.
Aidan's parents, Kip and Kerrie O'Rourke, are raising money to sponsor the remodel of the Kosair Children's hospital Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) family waiting room. The room will be renamed after Aidan and will include a plaque outside the entrance with his picture!!
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts. ALL DONATIONS ARE 100% TAX DEDUCTIBLE!!
Many thanks for your support.
