Welcome to my 5K Run/Walk fundraising page.
I’m participating on the Roosevelt Island 5K Run/Walk to support the work of the Icla da Silva Foundation.
The Icla da Silva Foundation is a really great organization that helps to save lives through recruiting bone marrow donors and that provides support services to children and adults with leukemia and other blood diseases.
Your donations will help to expand the number of donors in the National Registry and consequently the number of lives saved! With the support of generous individuals like you, the Icla da Silva Foundation can help children and their families through a successful transplant process.
Funds will be used to cover the costs of adding donors to the Marrow Registry and to cover the out of pocket costs for families going through the transplant process.
Please make a donation to support this incredible cause! Together we can help children and adults increase their odds of receiving life saving transplants and cross the ultimate finish line – a cure!
Please share this page with your family and friends and get them involved. Thank you for your support!
PS. If you want to join me at the 5K on May 12, 2012, please register as a runner or walker by going to www.nycruns.com/ri5k
