Hope, Steps & A Cure Walk

August 21, 2010 10:00 AM

Stony Creek Metropark, MI

Hope, Steps & A Cure, a fundraising and awareness walk, will benefit the Aplastic Anemia & MDS International Foundation as it provides support and hope to patients with bone marrow failure diseases.

This walk is being organized by The Taubman Asset Group, Inc. (TAG).  The TAG Team is walking in support of Leah Davidson a member of the TAG family.  Leah was diagnosed with myelodysplastic syndromes, MDS on March 15, 2010.  This was shocking news to her and her loved ones.  Leah will soon undergo treatment to fight this disease. The TAG team supports each other and their family members and we hope with this walk we will raise awareness of this disease and raise money to help fund research for MDS.

AA&MDSIF is the world’s leading non-profit health organization dedicated to supporting patients and their families who are living with aplastic anemia, myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS), and paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH) and related bone marrow failure diseases. AA&MDSIF provides answers, support and hope to thousands of patients and their families around the world through patient support, patient education, research and advocacy.
