The Battered Women’s Shelter and Rape Crisis Center of Summit & Medina Counties have come together with The Love Initiative to create the AKRON PEACE PROJECT.

The AKRON PEACE PROJECT ‘s objective is to encourage peace within our self, home, and community. With the help of generous donors like you, the Project is hosting an educational and fun activity-filled week!

Activities will include an official proclamation of “Akron Peace Week” by the City of Akron, dog walk, speakers, art show, meditation, travelling international peace museum exhibit, film, music and more!

Proceeds stemming from this event will help support the Battered Women’s Shelter and Rape Crisis Center in their efforts to support survivors of domestic and sexual violence on their road to healing and peace. *Donations from this firstgiving site supports the Battered Women's Shelter.
