Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for Ride Round Rhody 2012!

For the 3rd year in a row, I will be biking 75 miles to raise money for cancer care and research. On August 12, I will be among more than one hundred cyclists and scores of volunteers working as one to fight cancer as part of the "Ride Round Rhody" bike-a-thon. 

The annual event is raising critical funds for cancer treatment in Rhode Island. The ride has supported clinical trials that have a global impact, as well as complementary medicine, cancer patient navigation programs, general oncology services and equipment purchases, such as new infusion chairs at Hasbro Children’s Hospital.

The event is sponsored by both international and local businesses, and nearly 600 donations were made last year alone. In its first three years, RRR has raised more than $75,000 for local cancer treatment.
