Welcome to the 2009 USA Lightweight Men's 2- fundraising page!  We are proud that we will be representing the United States in Poznan, Poland this year at the FISA World Rowing Championships.  The Lightweight Men's 2- is a non-Olympic event, and as such, we must raise the funds to cover the cost of the trip.  The Lightweight Men's 2- is a solid training and development ground for the Olympic boat classes. Giving athletes the chance to develop in non-Olympic boat classes at World Championshisps is key to the sucess of the USA's Olympic boats.  With your help, we can raise the caliber of US Men's Lightweight rowing, and start the Road to London 2012 in strong style.

In order to make this trip possible we must raise $6,800 to defray travel expenses, food, equipment rental, entry fees and room/board. Donations of any size will help to get us to the starting line in Poland. Individuals who contribute at least $100 will receive a signed picture of the team and donations over $500 will also receive an autographed USA Rowing T-Shirt. 

Any donations in excess of the $6,800 goal will be contributed to the Lightweight Victory Fund. The mission of this fund is to build an endowment that will continue to support USA Lightweight Men's rowing into the future.
