We are a climbing team of old friends and former climbing buddies taking part in Climb for the Cure, an event sponsored by the CureDuchenne involving simultaneous technical and non-technical climbs on various peaks across the country on June 19-20, 2010. We are participating in the technical climb of Mt. Shasta described below in honor of Alexander Cliff who has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. We will climb the West Face Gully route over June 18-20, first going to a base camp and then making the final ascent, where we will connect with others participating in the event who are taking a different, less technical route. And so...
We climb for the boys who can't
We climb to create awareness of Duchenne
We climb with other Duchenne families to raise funds for medical research
WE CLIMB TO CURE THIS DREADFUL DISEASE
Thanks again,
Alexander's Cliffhangers
