Thank you for visiting my 2012 Polar Plunge fundraising page.

I have been involved with Special Olympics for about 3 years now. Each year offers new and exciting challenges and accomplishments. But one thing has always stayed the same, and that is the attitude of these athletes. They have continued to impress me through various sports seasons, and I am always excited to watch them excel. This fundraiser is one of the larger fundraisers Special Olympics is involved in, and every little bit counts! So please even if all you have to spare is $5.00, it would be going to a really special cause.

The Polar Plunge is made possible by the Law Enforcement Torch Run®, a group of police officers and corrections personnel committed to raising funds and awareness for SOMI. Proceeds from the Polar Plunge support the year-round sports training and athletic competition for more than 20,679 children and adults with intellectual disabilities who live in Michigan.

I have committed to support the athletes of Special Olympics Michigan by taking the plunge in 2012. Polar Plunges are a fun and unique way to support Special Olympics Michigan.
