Thank you for visiting my Personal Fundraising Page. My friendship with Ben, an autistic runner, has inspired me to run in support of the Organization for Autism Research (OAR). Below, I have included a few photos of Ben and me. We have been selected by OAR to have our picture displayed on their achievement “Brag Board”!
I plan on carrying a list of all contributors with me during the marathon; I will keep all of you in my mind as I struggle through the "tough miles" toward the finish. I may get a little teary eyed at some point as I think of the generosity of your support, of Ben's struggle with Autism and of my challenge to meet a Chicago marathon personal goal. Also, after completing the marathon (26.2 miles), I will have a photo taken of me holding the OAR contributor list that I will post on this site.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to my fundraising efforts.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
