Thank you for visiting my Bird-a-thon fundraising page - please support my Bird-a-thon effort!

This year, my daughter Marie and I will be out there birding on May 15-16, regardless of the weather, hoping to see and hear lots of birds.  For several recent Bird-a-thons, the weather has been atrocious! We will be birding no matter what, wearing appropriate birding attire, so please support us with your donation and good wishes!

We can see a couple of dozen bird species without even leaving the house, and then we will probably head out to look for woodpeckers not far away. Depending on when and where we bird, we will see over 80 species of birds of all types. 

The Bird-a-thon supports the work of Mass Audubon, which protects land and habitat for wild creatures - Mass Audubon is where I work, and it is my favorite environmental organization! 

Donating through this website is the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts!

Even while we are in an economic downturn, it is still important to preserve the habitat needed by our wild animal neighbors for nesting, foraging and migration.
