Well it's that time of year again! I will be walking on Sun. October 17th to raise money for Lupus research.

As all of you know, I have been living with Lupus since the age of 16. It has not always been easy and at times it is still a challenge, but with the love and support of my family and friends, I am lucky enough to live a very normal life.

Lupus has also greatly impacted the life of my friend Christine. Christine and I met  while at Hofstra where we were lucky enough to join a sorority that cared. We began participating in this walk as a team over a decade ago. Even as the years go by, our friends continue to turn out in support of us and this cause.  It has become a great tradition which never fails to touch my heart.

For the first time ever we are on the brink of a new drug coming to market made specifically for Lupus patients. We are making progress but we are still so far from a cure. Please help us to find it so that myself along with so many others can be helped. Any amount  you can give would be greatly appreciated.
