Thank you to Chuck Zacney, proud owner of Afleet Alex for his generous $10,000 donation!
For those of you wondering how to make you life easier, I say, shave your head! It certainly makes getting ready in the morning a lot quicker!
A special thanks to Dennis Reardon and Bill Booth, the amazing staff at both schools who put together the Potter Cup and all of the students. They raised over 35,000 during their event. It was one of the best nights!
Donations to "Go for Bald" are still coming in...Thanks to all:
"Hair's to You" Mrs. Kopp - From Kendall Bushick. Instead of purchasing a Christmas gift from her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Trommald of Oregon, Kendall was given the option of donating to a charity of her choice - she generously made a donation to Alex's Lemoande Stand Foundtion! Thanks Kendall!
25.00 donation from The Brletich's
20.00 donation from The Pope-Weintraub Family
Hello friends! I had such a great time Friday evening at the Potter Cup. The only way to shave your head is to do it in front of a crowd of cheering, excited people! We exceeded our goal and more contributions continue to come in. Together we raised over $20,000 for Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation.
Maybe Liz and I have started a new trend...

Woo Hoo!! I guess everyone really wants to see Liz bald because we met the goal!!
The big event will happen tonight at 5 PM on Center Court at Haverford High School, 200 Mill Road, Havertown, PA for all of those interested in having a great time at the Potter Cup. Dennis Reardon and Bill Booth have really done a tremendous job leading up to tonight...I'm looking forward to all of the festivities this evening. Thanks to all of the students at Paxon Hallow and Haverford Middle School for allowing Liz and I to shave our heads at their event.
Again, thanks to all of you for being a part of the team making this happen. Unfortuntaly, I woke up today and I think I had the best hair day ever! Go figure...
Love, Alicia
3 days left but who is counting? Wondering if I am having second thoughts? Not one.
Thanks to all of you who donated offline. We are almost there. Looking forward to the Potter Cup on Friday. I'll post the details of when the shaving will happen....

Maggie Wright Anita Deasey Inge Kopp Albert and Natalie Gigliotti The Dabrowski Family My former coworkers and friends at Procura Mr. and Mrs. DeVries Mr. and Mrs. Keiper Dear Family and Friends, We are well on our way to reaching our goal of raising $10,000. I say "we" becasue we are all doing this together. I'm becoming more excited as the 27th approches. Its truly a great feeling to have all of your support and encouragement. It also is a daily reminder to me of how profoundly Alex has touched my life and that her lovely smile will forever be in my heart. I feel priviledged to have the opportunity to honor Alex and all of the other children that fight cancer on a daily basis - to do what I can to continue Alex's dream. Since I'm fairly certain that you don't want me to go bald all by myself, it appears that Liz will also be joining me. I'm confident we will make it to $10,000. Many of you may be familiar with Afleet Alex and owner, Chuck Zachney. Mr. Zachney has been a true friend and supporter to Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation and he has generously offered to match the Go for the Bald goal of $10,000. So, every dollar that you donate will be matched! Talk about heart! I also want to thank other family and friends who have generously given to this goal. Thanks to Maggie Wright, Inge Kopp, The Dabrowski Family and Albert and Natalie Gigliotti. I couldn't do this without the encouragement and kindness from all of you. I'll keep you updated on the details of exactly when and where this will happen. Love, Alicia .Thank you for visiting Alicia Kopp's Fundraising Page. My name is Alicia Kopp and I am very excited to share with you an exciting endeavor. I am going to raise money for my favorite charity, Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation For Childhood Cancer. I am going to do this by doing something I never thought I would do, I am going to shave my head bald. Not only am I going to shave my head, but I am going to shave my head on January 27th in front of over 600 middle school students during the Potter Cup. The Potter Cup is a sports tournament between Haverford Middle School and Paxon Hollow Middle School that raises money for Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation. Here is where I need your help, my goal is to raise $10,000, so I need to get pledges for shaving my head. Am I nervous, yes. Am I excited, yes. Help me reach my goal and help a great cause in the process. If I reach my goal of $10,000, Liz Scott, Alex's mother, has agreed to shave her head as well. Thanks and we will post pictures of me (and hopefully Liz) on www.alexslemonade.org with a smile and a bald head at the end of January.
