Those of you that know me know that I'm a sucker for a good cause and this is a great cause. Melanoma is a killer and there's so much bad information out there. So I'm trying to do my part to help raise awareness and support life saving research.
I am training for a half marathon athletic walk . ME!!! I can barely get to the gym on a regular basis but now I'm forcing myself to and liking it. I chose to do this for two reasons. The first is to help the cause. Second is to challenge myself. I like the idea of training with a team. I like the schedule and the discipline. It all sounds like great fun and A LOT of work.
I need your help!!! I could use some motivation over the months to keep me going, keep me training and don't let me slack off!!

I am a fused glass artist and would like to find ways to motivate and thank those that support me. This first week I'll be taking the pool of donors and pulling a name. That person will win a custom fused glass pendant or plate from me. In future weeks I'll be offering other things, pendants from other artists, a professional massage etc.
