Welcome to the Fuse Factory fundraising page!
Greetings and Salutations!
We have been offered an amazing opportunity courtesy of the Short North Business Association! They have invited us to participate in their First Annual Public Art Day on August 16th in the form of a live performance: a Fusenik will create, somewhere on High Street and in plain view, a giant (4' x 8') Lite Brite out of LED Throwies. If you go to the Short North website news page, our project is given a mention, even! W00t!
The SNBA is donating $500 toward the purchase of supplies - thousands of LEDs, coin batteries, and rare earth magnets - which they have asked us to match by August 1st.
Hence this fundraising page! :)
By donating any amount, whether it be wee or a big whack, not only are you showing us some love, you are proudly demonstrating your support for the arts and the art scene in the fair city of Columbus, Ohio. After all, that's really what it's all about: the arts are integral to a lively, vital city.
Thank you very much for your support - come by and see us on the 16th!
Red beans and ricely,
Alison Colman, Founder and Executive Director
