There is Hope... Keep Pushing Forward... One step at a time...

Hi everyone! Thanks for visiting my fundraising page!

This is my 5th year running the Boston Marathon, and my second year running for Dougie's Team. Last year was an unbelievable journey, and through everyone's amazing support, I was able to raise more than $10,000 for the wonderful organization- The Doug Flutie, Jr. Foundation for Autism.

The journey is not over! This year, I have set a new goal for myself. EVERYONE you know can be a part of my journey this year! I am seeking to raise $4,000... and collect half of the money in redeemable cans/bottles and spare change.

As an ongoing fundraiser over the course of the next three months, I am collecting empty cans and bottles with a 5 cent deposit... and spare change. Of course, if you would prefer to make a one time monetary donation, that is also greatly appreciated. Either way, let's start spreading the word and increasing autism awareness! (And of course, all donations are Tax Deductible).

Thank you all for your continuous support!

A little bit about me:

Autism is a cause near and dear to my heart, as I have taught children with autism for the past three years. I am committed to seeing lives changed and making a difference- one family at a time.  I seek to inspire and encourage others. One of the greatest joys I have experienced is teaching students with limited to no verbal skills, how to communicate effectively through use of the iPad, as a communication device (Proloquo2go app). This innovative technology has greatly enhanced education for students with autism.

Please help me, as I join the Doug Flutie Foundation, to promote autism awareness, increase research, and develop programs to help desperate families. I thank you in advance for your consideration, and donation.

Together we have the ability to CHANGE a lot, by giving a little. Please start saving all those cans and bottles for me!.... Every little bit helps!
