Hi Everyone! Thank for taking the time to check  out what I am running for! I hope to make a difference through our Iowan's For Africa team raising money for World Vision's Cause:

World Vision works to tackle the root causes of poverty by working with children, families, and their communities to provide things like clean water, health care, nutritious food, education, and economic opportunities.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout all my training this year, as well as from cross country at CFHS and on! I couldn't have done it without the encouragement from my coaches, my parents, my family,  my KKG sisters, and ALL my friends (some of who get to share the experience with me on race day!)

Most importantly, all GLORY to God! I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me (Phil. 4:13)... so I know I will not be running alone. Putting my trust in Jesus Christ and showing faith and perseverance through the hard times in the race and in what I've gone through in training has changed my life and outlook on circumstances! I put my trust in God alone, and I want God's light to shine brighter in my life!

Joshua 1:9- Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.

I would GREATLY appreciate prayers for the race day for my team, myself, our cause, and that we keep our eyes on the eternal prize!
