Dear Friends and Family,

Last year a group of committee members concieved the idea for the first ever Greater Kansas City Myasthenia Gravis Walk, Run and Roll.  It was a huge success as over $20,000 was raised for the Myasthenia Gravis Association of Kansas City.

We are in the midst of planning the 2nd Annual Greater Kansas City Myasthenia Gravis Walk, Run and Roll to be held on April 21, 2012.  We anticipate that this years event will be an even greater success and bring more awareness to this widely unknown disease.  

For me facing the challenges of Myasthenia Gravis since the age of 5, I have learned there are many ups and downs of having a chronic illness but to embrace life and take things day by day.  I have been blessed wtih excellent medical care and Plasmaphersis treatments which have stabilized my condition.
