So here it is!  I am the new Law Enforcement Torch Run Liasion (LETR) for Special Olympics Georgia (SOGA).  Since starting I have learned the true meaning of inspiring greatness.  The atheletes and law enforcement officers that I work with are the true heros of this organization and they are the ones that we work so hard for. 

My second week here, I was thrown into the midst of our Fall Games.  It didn't take long for me to realize that all of the hard work that goes on behind the scenes is well worth it.  During opening ceremonies, our top fundraising law enforcement officers carry in the Flame of Hope and light the cauldron which signifies the opening of the games.  This moment will truly bring chill bumps to any person who is able to witness this moment.  Seeing the athletes light up, smile and cheer on the law enforcement officers is an remarkalbe experience for everyone.

Thus, I am busy working to make sure that the 2007 Law Enforcement Torch Run season is a true success for those that deserve this one of kind experience.  Please take a moment to make a donation online and help inspire greatness.
