The Autism Project is an organization committed to improving the lives of people with an Autism Spectrum Disorder and the many, many people who love and support them. We are parents, teachers, speech and language pathologists, occupational therapists and other related professionals.
Our programs for the children, teens and young adults include: a two-week summer camp Camp WANNAGOAGAIN!; social groups for children and teens with autism, Asperger Syndrome and related communication or social challenges; and support groups for family members; including, Grandparents. In addition, we provide multiple levels of training for parents, professionals and caregivers on the disorder including the first introductory level training offered in Spanish in RI.
Our team of consultants also work in schools across our state to support educators working to teach students with autism and Asperger Syndrome in the public schools.
