Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency (Alpha-1) is a condition that is passed on from parents to their children through genes. This condition may result in serious lung and/or liver disease at various ages in life.
It is an estimated that as many as 1 in every 2,500 Americans may have Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency (Alpha-1).
With support such as yours we are able to continue our mission to serve people whose lives are impacted by Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency (Alpha-1). This contribution will assist in research, early detection and improved treatment programs for those diagnosed with this disorder.
