We have been working very hard to bring an important value of being American to light. On Sunday, September 18, 2011 we will all gather on either two or four-wheeled vehicles to meet at the Maynard Rod and Gun Club to honor and HELP our Injured American Heroes. As we live on day to day, some of our fellow Americans are not as lucky to carry on in the same manner. They have been injured while defending the age-old idea of liberty amongst men and women nationwide. Please show your support in the form of helping to raise money for these injured human beings who have taken a BRAVE step away from the norms society have shaped in our daily living.............

 

Ink Jam Tattoo Studio is hosting a fundraising motorcycle run and cookout to benefit the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund. This event will be held on Sunday, September 18, 2011 and will take place at the Maynard Rod and Gun Club. Music will be provided by The Super 8’s, a band that plays classic and current rock hits. Hot dogs and hamburgers will be sold for a small fee and there will be plenty of raffles, prizes and contests during the cookout. There will also be a car show featuring all makes and models. Families are encouraged to join us between 1:00-6:00 pm at the cookout. A $15.00 donation is requested for admission and the cookout is open to the public.

The motorcycles will stage between 9:30-10:00 am on Sunday, September 18 at Boston Harley-Davidson , 1760 Revere Beach Parkway, Everett, Ma. The motorcycles will depart at approximately 11:30 am towards the cookout at 45 Old Mill Road in Maynard, MA.

The cars who are entering the contest will register at the Maynard Rod and Gun Club between 10am and 11:30am.

*This event is open to the public, so please feel free to attend the cookout if you are not a motorcyclist, to enjoy the great music, food, raffles, prizes and entertainment all while supporting the brave men and women who have defended our country !

Many of us have had or have loved ones who have served in Iraq or Afghanistan over the past few years. Unfortunately, many of our service men and women are not coming back safe and sound from their deployment overseas. It is good to know that there are now organizations like the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund who are there for our men and women in their time of need. We fully support this organization and are reaching out to friends, family and all citizens to assist us in this effort. We are looking for donations for this event whether it is monetary, merchandise or gift certificates to be used in our basket raffles. Any help that you can give to this fundraiser would be greatly appreciated. This benefit has been approved by the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund and 100% of the proceeds will be sent directly to the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund.

The Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund is a 501(c)(3) non-profit set up to provide immediate financial support for injured and critically ill members of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families. We direct urgently needed resources to post 9-11 Marines and Sailors, as well as members of the Army, Air Force or Coast Guard who serve in support of Marine forces. The Semper Fi Fund provides relief for financial needs that arise during hospitalization and recovery as well as assistance for those with perpetuating needs. Our program provides support in a variety of ways including: Service Member and Family Support, Specialized & Adaptive Equipment, Adaptive Housing, Adaptive Transportation, Education and Career Transition Assistance, Therapeutic Arts and Team Semper Fi.
