What's this about? We (Phoebe and Amanda) are taking a three-mile stroll through the beautiful Garden of the Gods park on October 9 to raise money for S-CAP, the Southern Colorado AIDS Project. It is the only organization we know of that works for people living with AIDS here. We know people who benefit from it, and employees. This is a cause we both care about a lot. (For those of you who don't know this: Amanda was an early member of Boston ACT UP and Phoebe is teaching on the biology and public health of AIDS in some of her classes.)

We would like to raise well over $200 for them, but since times are tight for everyone we hope that if enough of you chip in $5 or $10 or $20, we'll easily clear $200. Let's see how we do!
