I met Annie about a year and a half ago. Annie happened to live in my neighborhood and I was lucky enough to be able to meet her and be her friend. Annie is the sweetest person I've ever known. 

At eight years old, Annie was diagnosed with Rett Syndrome, a neurodevelopemental disorder. This is a disease that effects almost exclusively females. To learn more about Rett Syndrome, visit http://rettsyndrome.org/.
