This "unbearable" event is a unique opportunity for individuals, businesses and organizations to support local Special Olympics athletes by jumping, diving or crawling into the sparkling, frigid waters of Missouri. Since its inception 13 years ago, 6,263 Missourians have taken the plunge in lakes across the state, raising $1,304,669. If you're too chicken to make the splash yourself, please be a fan by making a pledge to me!

Yes, it is Insane and Yes, I have lost my mind but it is all for a wonderful cause, our Special Olympians.

I have done the Super Plunge this year for Special Olympics and what that means is that I have gone into the sparkling, frigid waters of Longview Lake 24 times in 24 hours.  Yes, that is once every hour for 24 hours. We started Friday Jan. 30th at 12 noon and we did this plunge every hour with 3 double dips so we could finish up by 9am on Jan. 31st so that the regular Polar Bear Plunge could start at 12 noon. As soon as the pictures are downloaded I will put some here on this site. I still need to raise $3,000.00 for this event but I would love to raise more than that. So if you can help me reach my goal I would be very grateful and so will all the Special Olympians that this money goes to help.
